Hello Everyone!
We are back with our monthly update, and it's a big one! We have officially begun production on the Eva Bodysuit!!! That means our (women-led) team is cutting all the pattern pieces as we speak! Then comes sewing, quality control, and shipping to our fulfillment center (that's just a fancy term for "Heather's spare bedroom.")
Anyone who pledged at the "Look At That Body(suit)" tier should expect to receive their bodysuits mid to late March. For those that pledged for a tier that includes the Rachel midi dress, we hope to deliver your orders in early April. Our manufacturing team will be working on the styles sequentially, so we will update you again when production on the Rachel begins. The molded cups and underwire are tricky and we want to make sure we get it jusssttt right for all of you. That means extra fittings and testing.
Once all of our backers have received their orders, we plan to launch on our website, www.franklyapparel.com. The Eva and the Rachel will both be available, as well as the much beloved Charlee mini dress! And who knows, you might see a couple new styles, as well.... Stay tuned!

Hi All -
Happy December! It's an exciting week as we start shipping orders out to our "OMG, Totes" tier backers. We hope you love your new tote bags! As a reminder, backers who purchased tote bags as part of a different tier that includes a dress or bodysuit will receive their order all at once in 2021. This allows us to reduce the environmental impact caused by unnecessary shipping.
We are also writing to you about the impending lockdown in California. As you know, we produce our clothes at a female-owned and run factory in Los Angeles. With COVID-19 cases spiking again, much of LA has entered a three-week stay-at-home order. This has not yet affected manufacturing, but it likely will. Our factory is preparing for a potential shut down as are we. The impact of this remains uncertain. We built contingency into our delivery timeline, and as of now, we still plan for a March delivery date. We will keep you posted as the situation develops. We know upfront communication and transparency is key. You will be the first to know what we know. For now, we soldier on!
